RTD's FirstBornUnicorn
Whew! Our first show of the buckle series is in the books and OH MY what a great turnout we had! I still get excited every time I see a video uploaded! And we are always looking to add more contestants to the classes I thought I would address some of the questions/concerns Victoria and I have fielded throughout this series and the previous one.
* Do you need to live in Indiana to show?
NO! In fact we encourage people from all over to show with us! We LOVE seeing people from other places!
* Is this for Quarter Ponies only?
Absolutely NOT!! It is an OPEN show and we encourage all breeds to show with us! We've even had someone ask if they could show their mule and the answer is a resounding YES!
*Can I ride in Western Pleasure and Ranch classes?
Absolutely! We would love for you to show in both!
*Can I show more than one horse?
Sure can! You can show as many as you want! Just make sure to fill out a separate entry form for each!
*What kind of attire is required?
We don't "require" a complete show outfit - such as chaps or a hunt jacket, however, please dress appropriately and neatly - a pair of jeans and a nice, clean shirt with sleeves and boots for western - Breeches and a nice shirt with wither tall boots or paddock boots and half chaps for English. Remember this is still a horse show so think schooling show attire.
* Can I use my Western bridle for English?
Please use the appropriate equipment for the discipline you are showing in - this means English bridle in English and Western bridle for Western.
We've had quite a few more questions which you can find the answers to on the show page but feel free to reach out to Victoria or myself if you have one we haven't answered!
Most of all - HAVE FUN! We enjoy doing this for everyone and we love seeing you all!
Good Luck in the next show!
Appy Riding!
